Please note that CME credits can only be claimed by healthcare professionals who attended the live event.

To obtain a certificate of attendance, please fill out an evaluation form by October 15, 2020. Completing the evaluation will unlock your certificate of attendance, which can be downloaded from your myCIRSE area. Please note that only attendees who registered for all live congress days can claim the certificate.

The live sessions of the CIRSE 2020 Summit have been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 23 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). For further details, please refer to https://www.cirse.org/events/cirse-2020/cme-credit-allowance/

Your portal to the CIRSE 2020 Summit scientific programme is the congress start page. After logging in via the button on the top right corner, you will be able to access the scientific programme through the main menu on the top of your screen. You can then click on the session of your choice to watch on-demand content whenever suits you.

If you have a valid congress registration, the scientific programme will remain available to you on the Summit platform until the end of November. After that, you will have exclusive access to all CIRSE 2020 Summit content until March 15, 2021 via the CIRSE Library.

Next to each session and presentation, you have the option of adding it to your favourites. To access your list of favourited sessions, click on your name indicated on the right top corner of the scientific programme page.

Should you wish to participate in a video chat via the chat tool in the lower right corner of your screen, please note that this is only possible in Chrome.

You can enter the CIRSE 2020 Summit exhibition through the “Exhibition and activities” button located at the top of the Summit landing page, which will lead you to the exhibition’s main foyer. From here, you will be able to access the Blue and Orange exhibition halls as well as the learning centres.

After the live congress (September 12-15), the exhibition will remain open until end of November for congress attendees to visit booths and consult the displayed content. Please note that exhibitors will not be requested to staff their booths, therefore booth representatives might not be online to chat.

To visit our industry partners and society booths, simply enter one of the exhibition halls and click on the corresponding virtual booth, which will give you access to all links, videos and other information material. Please note that after September 15, companies are not required to staff their booths and, therefore, company representatives might not be online to chat.

This system check will quickly show you if your system fulfils the requirements for viewing the Exhibiton & Activities platform. We recommend Chrome or Firefox. Other browsers such as Explorer might cause issues with interactivity features such as the chat platform.

In case you cannot see the entire page, you can also try zooming in or out in your browser window by simultaneously pressing ‘ctrl’ and using your mouse wheel or the +/- buttons on your keyboard.

Yes, you can still edit your booth or learning centre by using your booth administrator control panel. The platform will be refreshed every now and then. If you need an ad-hoc update, please contact [email protected]. As your booth representatives might not be online but some attendees might still visit your booth, we recommend to leave a contact email or form at your booth.

The Summit platform features two chat tools.

One is integrated into the Exhibition & Activities platform and can be accessed by clicking on the number next to ‘This location’ in the top right corner. You can then chat with everyone who is on the same webpage as you. In addition to using text chat, booth representatives can also invite attendees to join a 1:1 video chat session with them. The booth representatives need to first initiate a text chat, then invite the attendee for a 1:1 video chat. The attendee will then need to click ‘join’ to accept the call.

The second chat tool is available across all areas (the Scientific Programme, News Feed, and Exhibition & Activities). This chat allows everyone who is logged in, no matter which page they are on, to connect with other attendees via text or 1:1 video chat. To start a video chat, first initiate a text chat by either clicking on an active user from the list or doing a surname search at the bottom of the chat window (only logged-in users will appear). When clicking on the ‘chat settings’ cogwheel (top right of the chatbox), an option for ‘start video chat’ will appear. Click this and a video link will be provided in the chat window. Click on the link to open the video call in another browser tab.

This is only possible in the public chat (orange button on the bottom right corner). Click on the person’s name in the chat list to open a private chat window. Then click on the ‘Settings’ icon on the top right of the private chat window and choose ‘Block’. Please note that the other person will see that you have blocked them when trying to get in touch with you. Simply click ‘Unblock’ if you would like allow the other person to be able to contact you again.

You can do that in the public chat and in the virtual exhibition. For the public chat, click on the chat icon in the lower right corner and click on the chat settings next to your name. Here you can choose between available, idle, busy, and offline. You can also mute or unmute the chat sound and choose whether you would like to enable notifications. At the virtual exhibition, click on your picture (top right corner) and click on the status you wish to display. You can choose between online, away and do not disturb.
